Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media Executive to manage and grow Newmatic’s social media presence across Kenya, Tanzania, and Nigeria.

This role is responsible for content creation, community engagement, video production, and performance reporting across all major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. .

Responsibilities

  • Manage all social media pages across Kenya, Tanzania, and Nigeria

  • Create and publish high-quality content for appliances and new product introductions

  • Design social media posts and submit them for approval before publishing

  • Record, edit, and post approved video content across social media platforms

  • Create, manage, and grow TikTok pages and audience engagement

  • Monitor and respond to direct messages (DMs) and comments in a professional and timely manner

  • Ensure brand consistency in visuals, tone, and messaging across all regions

  • Monitor audience engagement, trends, and platform performance

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to support campaigns and sales objectives

  • Prepare and submit monthly social media performance and engagement reports

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or business

  • Strong content creation skills, including basic graphic design and videography

  • Experience creating and editing short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

  • Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok best practices

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently while meeting approval and reporting deadlines

  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

We seek several numbers of qualified Domestic Appliance Technicians, positions are available throughout the country.

Responsibilities

  • Installations, Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with a variety of kitchen appliances, including but not limited to: gas/radiant/induction hobs, chimney hoods, ovens, microwaves and more
  • Effectively communicate with customers to explain diagnoses, provide accurate repair quotes and obtain the approval for necessary repairs 
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure appliances are in optimal working condition 
  • Issue orders and correctly install replacement parts as needed 
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, including details of repairs and parts used 
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction with every service call

Requirements

  • Have related academic qualifications and at least 2 years of experience in the installation and repair of gas or electric appliances
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills in both English and Swahili
